CVE-2022-1271 4 Debian, Gnu, Redhat and 1 more 8 Debian Linux, Gzip, Enterprise Linux and 5 more 2026-10-14 8.8 High
An arbitrary file write vulnerability was found in GNU gzip's zgrep utility. When zgrep is applied on the attacker's chosen file name (for example, a crafted file name), this can overwrite an attacker's content to an arbitrary attacker-selected file. This flaw occurs due to insufficient validation when processing filenames with two or more newlines where selected content and the target file names are embedded in crafted multi-line file names. This flaw allows a remote, low privileged attacker to force zgrep to write arbitrary files on the system.
CVE-2021-46848 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Gnu and 1 more 5 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libtasn1 and 2 more 2026-10-14 9.1 Critical

CVE-2021-43396 2 Gnu, Oracle 7 Glibc, Communications Cloud Native Core Binding Support Function, Communications Cloud Native Core Network Function Cloud Native Environment and 4 more 2026-10-14 7.5 High
In iconvdata/iso-2022-jp-3.c in the GNU C Library (aka glibc) 2.34, remote attackers can force iconv() to emit a spurious '\0' character via crafted ISO-2022-JP-3 data that is accompanied by an internal state reset. This may affect data integrity in certain iconv() use cases. NOTE: the vendor states "the bug cannot be invoked through user input and requires iconv to be invoked with a NULL inbuf, which ought to require a separate application bug to do so unintentionally. Hence there's no security impact to the bug.
CVE-2021-38604 3 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Oracle 8 Fedora, Glibc, Communications Cloud Native Core Binding Support Function and 5 more 2026-10-14 7.5 High
In librt in the GNU C Library (aka glibc) through 2.34, sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/mq_notify.c mishandles certain NOTIFY_REMOVED data, leading to a NULL pointer dereference. NOTE: this vulnerability was introduced as a side effect of the CVE-2021-33574 fix.
CVE-2021-35942 4 Debian, Gnu, Netapp and 1 more 8 Debian Linux, Glibc, Active Iq Unified Manager and 5 more 2026-10-14 9.1 Critical
The wordexp function in the GNU C Library (aka glibc) through 2.33 may crash or read arbitrary memory in parse_param (in posix/wordexp.c) when called with an untrusted, crafted pattern, potentially resulting in a denial of service or disclosure of information. This occurs because atoi was used but strtoul should have been used to ensure correct calculations.
CVE-2021-33574 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Gnu and 2 more 21 Debian Linux, Fedora, Glibc and 18 more 2026-10-14 9.8 Critical
The mq_notify function in the GNU C Library (aka glibc) versions 2.32 and 2.33 has a use-after-free. It may use the notification thread attributes object (passed through its struct sigevent parameter) after it has been freed by the caller, leading to a denial of service (application crash) or possibly unspecified other impact.
CVE-2021-27645 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Gnu and 1 more 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Glibc and 1 more 2026-10-14 2.5 Low
The nameserver caching daemon (nscd) in the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) 2.29 through 2.33, when processing a request for netgroup lookup, may crash due to a double-free, potentially resulting in degraded service or Denial of Service on the local system. This is related to netgroupcache.c.
CVE-2021-4209 3 Gnu, Netapp, Redhat 6 Gnutls, Active Iq Unified Manager, Hci Bootstrap Os and 3 more 2026-10-14 6.5 Medium
A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in GnuTLS. As Nettle's hash update functions internally call memcpy, providing zero-length input may cause undefined behavior. This flaw leads to a denial of service after authentication in rare circumstances.
