| CVE-2026-43033 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-19 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: authencesn - Do not place hiseq at end of dst for out-of-place decryption When decrypting data that is not in-place (src != dst), there is no need to save the high-order sequence bits in dst as it could simply be re-copied from the source. However, the data to be hashed need to be rearranged accordingly. Thanks, | ||||
| CVE-2026-43030 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-19 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix regsafe() for pointers to packet In case rold->reg->range == BEYOND_PKT_END && rcur->reg->range == N regsafe() may return true which may lead to current state with valid packet range not being explored. Fix the bug. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98488 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-19 | 4.1 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: atl1e: fix soft lockup on out-of-range hw_next_to_clean read Same issue as atl1c (see the first commit in this series, "net: atl1c: fix soft lockup on out-of-range tpd_cons read"): the hardware can report an out-of-range hw_next_to_clean (seen as 0xffff) while the PCIe link/MAC is resetting. An out-of-range value can never be reached and the loop below would spin forever. Treat it as "nothing new to clean" instead. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98844 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-18 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfs: clear post-EOF pagecache when extending a file via write Fix netfs to erase the contents of a hole created after the EOF by an ordinary write if dirty data has been previously left there by writes through an mmapped region. Neither the buffered nor the unbuffered/DIO write path clears that stale pagecache. Zero the tail of the folio straddling the EOF before an extending write. That is the only folio that can hold data written past the EOF through an mmap, as pages wholly beyond the EOF can't be faulted in. The folio is zeroed rather than dropped so a concurrent extending write can't lose data. Both write paths downgrade the i_rwsem to shared, so extending writes can run concurrently and the i_size read by the caller may be stale by the time the folio is locked. Re-read i_size under the folio lock and clamp the zeroed range up to it, so a racing write that already put data into the folio isn't clobbered. Wait for any writeback on the folio to finish before zeroing it so that the pagecache isn't modified while it may still be read by the transport during transmission. Honour IOCB_NOWAIT by returning -EAGAIN rather than blocking on the folio lock, on writeback, or in folio_mkclean()'s rmap walk when the folio is mapped. truncate_pagecache() can't be used here: it must be called with the i_rwsem held exclusively, but these write paths only hold it shared, and it would block unconditionally, breaking IOCB_NOWAIT. Callers that hold i_rwsem exclusively for the whole resize (truncate, setattr, fallocate, clone) exclude any genuine concurrent buffered writer, so staleness can instead be decided from the folio's dirty state, as pagecache_isize_extended() already does for filesystems that serialise writes against truncate/setattr via a single i_rwsem. Export netfs_clear_stale_post_isize() helper to handle such case. The helper is required by the CIFS client to fix generic/363. | ||||

| A vulnerability has been found in macrozheng mall 1.0.3 dcaa93b. The impacted element is the function OmsOrderServiceImpl.updateMoneyInfo of the file /order/update/moneyInfo of the component mall-admin/mall-portal. The manipulation leads to incorrect calculation. The attack can be initiated remotely. The vendor deleted the GitHub issue for this vulnerability without any explanation. | ||||
| CVE-2026-72350 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-16 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: xt_u32: reject invalid shift counts u32_match_it() executes rule-supplied shift operands on a 32-bit value. A malformed u32 rule can provide a shift count of 32 or more, triggering an undefined shift out-of-bounds during packet evaluation. Validate XT_U32_LEFTSH and XT_U32_RIGHTSH operands in u32_mt_checkentry() and reject malformed rules before they reach the packet path. | ||||
| CVE-2024-53125 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-15 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: sync_linked_regs() must preserve subreg_def Range propagation must not affect subreg_def marks, otherwise the following example is rewritten by verifier incorrectly when BPF_F_TEST_RND_HI32 flag is set: 0: call bpf_ktime_get_ns call bpf_ktime_get_ns 1: r0 &= 0x7fffffff after verifier r0 &= 0x7fffffff 2: w1 = w0 rewrites w1 = w0 3: if w0 < 10 goto +0 --------------> r11 = 0x2f5674a6 (r) 4: r1 >>= 32 r11 <<= 32 (r) 5: r0 = r1 r1 |= r11 (r) 6: exit; if w0 < 0xa goto pc+0 r1 >>= 32 r0 = r1 exit (or zero extension of w1 at (2) is missing for architectures that require zero extension for upper register half). The following happens w/o this patch: - r0 is marked as not a subreg at (0); - w1 is marked as subreg at (2); - w1 subreg_def is overridden at (3) by copy_register_state(); - w1 is read at (5) but mark_insn_zext() does not mark (2) for zero extension, because w1 subreg_def is not set; - because of BPF_F_TEST_RND_HI32 flag verifier inserts random value for hi32 bits of (2) (marked (r)); - this random value is read at (5). | ||||
| CVE-2026-90040 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-15 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: SEV: Forcefully invalidate SNP VMSA if its backing gmem page is zapped Wire up a gmem_invalidate_range() call for SNP VMs, and use it to force vCPUs to reload/recheck their guest-provided VMSA if the backing gmem page is being invalidated, e.g. is being PUNCH_HOLE'd. Use the same core logic to handle invalidations as VMX does for the APIC-access page, as the two concepts are nearly identical: shove the physical address of a page into the vCPU's control structure: 1. Snapshot the invalidation sequence counter 2. Grab the pfn (from guest_memfd in this case) 3. Acquire mmu_lock for read 4. Re-request reload if retry is needed, otherwise commit the change. Note, the re-request action in #4 is necessary as KVM's retry logic is fuzzy, i.e. can get false positives. If the guest_memfd page has been dropped, at some point a subsequent reload will fail to get a PFN from guest_memfd, and KVM will fail KVM_RUN. If the retry was due to a false positive, KVM will retry until there are no relevant MMU notifier events (and will retry in the "outer" loop, i.e. will drop locks and resched as needed). Note #2! Take care to invalidate the VMSA when a relevant memslot is DELETED or MOVED, as invalidations in response to PUNCH_HOLE are predicated on memslot bindings (KVM doesn't know what GFN range(s) to invalidate without a binding). And more importantly, the VMSA mapping requires a memslot, i.e. must be invalidated if its memslots disappears, regardless of the state of the underlying guest_memfd inode. Failure to invalidate the vCPU's control.vmsa_pa (which is checked by pre_sev_run()) can prevent KVM from properly freeing the page as firmware will reject the RMPUPDATE to reclaim the page with FAIL_INUSE if the vCPU is actively running, i.e. if VMSA page is in-use. That in turn leads to an RMP #PF on the next use, as the page will still be assigned to the SNP VM. | CVE-2024-56770 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: netem: account for backlog updates from child qdisc In general, 'qlen' of any classful qdisc should keep track of the number of packets that the qdisc itself and all of its children holds. In case of netem, 'qlen' only accounts for the packets in its internal tfifo. When netem is used with a child qdisc, the child qdisc can use 'qdisc_tree_reduce_backlog' to inform its parent, netem, about created or dropped SKBs. This function updates 'qlen' and the backlog statistics of netem, but netem does not account for changes made by a child qdisc. 'qlen' then indicates the wrong number of packets in the tfifo. If a child qdisc creates new SKBs during enqueue and informs its parent about this, netem's 'qlen' value is increased. When netem dequeues the newly created SKBs from the child, the 'qlen' in netem is not updated. If 'qlen' reaches the configured sch->limit, the enqueue function stops working, even though the tfifo is not full. Reproduce the bug: Ensure that the sender machine has GSO enabled. Configure netem as root qdisc and tbf as its child on the outgoing interface of the machine as follows: $ tc qdisc add dev <oif> root handle 1: netem delay 100ms limit 100 $ tc qdisc add dev <oif> parent 1:0 tbf rate 50Mbit burst 1542 latency 50ms Send bulk TCP traffic out via this interface, e.g., by running an iPerf3 client on the machine. Check the qdisc statistics: $ tc -s qdisc show dev <oif> Statistics after 10s of iPerf3 TCP test before the fix (note that netem's backlog > limit, netem stopped accepting packets): qdisc netem 1: root refcnt 2 limit 1000 delay 100ms Sent 2767766 bytes 1848 pkt (dropped 652, overlimits 0 requeues 0) backlog 4294528236b 1155p requeues 0 qdisc tbf 10: parent 1:1 rate 50Mbit burst 1537b lat 50ms Sent 2767766 bytes 1848 pkt (dropped 327, overlimits 7601 requeues 0) backlog 0b 0p requeues 0 Statistics after the fix: qdisc netem 1: root refcnt 2 limit 1000 delay 100ms Sent 37766372 bytes 24974 pkt (dropped 9, overlimits 0 requeues 0) backlog 0b 0p requeues 0 qdisc tbf 10: parent 1:1 rate 50Mbit burst 1537b lat 50ms Sent 37766372 bytes 24974 pkt (dropped 327, overlimits 96017 requeues 0) backlog 0b 0p requeues 0 tbf segments the GSO SKBs (tbf_segment) and updates the netem's 'qlen'. The interface fully stops transferring packets and "locks". In this case, the child qdisc and tfifo are empty, but 'qlen' indicates the tfifo is at its limit and no more packets are accepted. This patch adds a counter for the entries in the tfifo. Netem's 'qlen' is only decreased when a packet is returned by its dequeue function, and not during enqueuing into the child qdisc. External updates to 'qlen' are thus accounted for and only the behavior of the backlog statistics changes. As in other qdiscs, 'qlen' then keeps track of how many packets are held in netem and all of its children. As before, sch->limit remains as the maximum number of packets in the tfifo. The same applies to netem's backlog statistics. | ||||
| CVE-2023-25139 | 1 Gnu | 1 Glibc | 2026-10-14 | 9.8 Critical |
| sprintf in the GNU C Library (glibc) 2.37 has a buffer overflow (out-of-bounds write) in some situations with a correct buffer size. This is unrelated to CWE-676. It may write beyond the bounds of the destination buffer when attempting to write a padded, thousands-separated string representation of a number, if the buffer is allocated the exact size required to represent that number as a string. For example, 1,234,567 (with padding to 13) overflows by two bytes. | ||||
| CVE-2021-45960 | 6 Debian, Libexpat Project, Netapp and 3 more | 10 Debian Linux, Libexpat, Active Iq Unified Manager and 7 more | 2026-10-14 | 8.8 High |
| In Expat (aka libexpat) before 2.4.3, a left shift by 29 (or more) places in the storeAtts function in xmlparse.c can lead to realloc misbehavior (e.g., allocating too few bytes, or only freeing memory). | ||||
| CVE-2020-14422 | 5 Fedoraproject, Opensuse, Oracle and 2 more | 6 Fedora, Leap, Enterprise Manager Ops Center and 3 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.9 Medium |
| Lib/ipaddress.py in Python through 3.8.3 improperly computes hash values in the IPv4Interface and IPv6Interface classes, which might allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service if an application is affected by the performance of a dictionary containing IPv4Interface or IPv6Interface objects, and this attacker can cause many dictionary entries to be created. This is fixed in: v3.5.10, v3.5.10rc1; v3.6.12; v3.7.9; v3.8.4, v3.8.4rc1, v3.8.5, v3.8.6, v3.8.6rc1; v3.9.0, v3.9.0b4, v3.9.0b5, v3.9.0rc1, v3.9.0rc2. | ||||
| CVE-2017-7376 | 3 Debian, Google, Xmlsoft | 3 Debian Linux, Android, Libxml2 | 2026-10-14 | N/A |
| Buffer overflow in libxml2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by leveraging an incorrect limit for port values when handling redirects. | ||||
| CVE-2026-107721 | 1 Nearform | 1 Fast-jwt | 2026-10-09 | 5.9 Medium |
| fast-jwt provides fast JSON Web Token (JWT) implementation. Prior to 6.3.0, fast-jwt createVerifier accepts Infinity for clockTolerance because its option validation checks type and negativity but not finiteness. In validateClaimDateValue, infinite positive and negative modifiers make exp and nbf comparisons always pass, allowing expired or not-yet-active tokens to be accepted. The verifier cache also derives infinite bounds, so entries created under this configuration can remain valid until eviction. Exploitation requires an application administrator or equivalent configuration path to set clockTolerance to Infinity. This issue is fixed in version 6.3.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-76470 | 1 Cisco | 4 Campus Gateway Software, Meraki Mr Wireless Access Point Software, Meraki Mv Firmware and 1 more | 2026-10-09 | 8.8 High |
| As part of Cisco's ongoing commitment to proactive security and product quality, the Cisco networking engineering team has conducted a comprehensive internal security review. This review resulted in a software hardening release that addresses multiple internally discovered vulnerabilities. The vulnerabilities tracked by CVE-2026-76470 are related to incorrect calculation issues that are grouped under the Common Weakness Enumeration (CWE) Pillar CWE-682. | ||||
| CVE-2026-106438 | 1 Mongodb | 1 C Driver | 2026-10-08 | 4 Medium |
| An incorrect calculation in Decimal128 string parsing in the MongoDB C Driver can accept certain over-precision inputs containing leading zeros instead of rejecting them. This produces a value different from the supplied text. An actor who can provide a decimal string to an embedding application, including through Extended JSON parsing, can cause the application to store or use an incorrect numeric value. | ||||
| CVE-2026-106420 | 2 Google, Microsoft | 2 Chrome, Windows | 2026-10-07 | 5.4 Medium |
| Incorrect calculation in API in Google Chrome on on Windows prior to 155.0.8059.39 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to spoof UI elements via a crafted Chrome extension. (Chromium security severity: Medium) | ||||
| CVE-2026-88371 | 1 Mchehab | 1 Zbar | 2026-10-07 | 5.5 Medium |
| ZBar commit 2ea2ca58 contains an undefined-behavior vulnerability in the Code 128 decode6() function. When processing specially crafted Code 128 input, decode_e() can return -1 for an invalid edge pattern, and decode6() subsequently left-shifts this negative signed value while constructing the edge signature. The operation invokes undefined behavior and can terminate trap-mode UBSan builds with SIGILL, resulting in denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98275 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-07 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ethernet: cortina: Ack RX overrun interrupt correctly The RX overrun interrupt is reported in interrupt status register 4, but gmac_irq() acknowledges it using the RX descriptor error bit from status register 0. For GMAC0 this writes the GMAC1 overrun bit, while for GMAC1 the shift leaves no bit in the 32-bit register. Acknowledge the same per-port RX overrun bit that was detected. | ||||
