CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: xfrm: reject unrepresentable espintcp transport headers
ESP-in-TCP can hand xfrm packets whose transport header offset no longer
fits after the stream parser trims the TCP envelope. The plain transport
header reset truncates that offset and triggers the skb warning path.
Use the careful transport-header helper and drop the skb through the
existing XFRM error path when the offset cannot be represented. |
| Unspecified vulnerability in the Java SE and Java SE Embedded components in Oracle Java SE 6u105, 7u91, and 8u66 and Java SE Embedded 8u65 allows remote attackers to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability via unknown vectors related to 2D. |
| Unspecified vulnerability in Oracle Java SE 6u101, 7u85, and 8u60, and Java SE Embedded 8u51, allows remote attackers to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability via unknown vectors related to Libraries. |
| An issue was discovered in GNOME GLib before 2.66.6 and 2.67.x before 2.67.3. The function g_bytes_new has an integer overflow on 64-bit platforms due to an implicit cast from 64 bits to 32 bits. The overflow could potentially lead to memory corruption. |
| An issue was discovered in GNOME GLib before 2.66.7 and 2.67.x before 2.67.4. If g_byte_array_new_take() was called with a buffer of 4GB or more on a 64-bit platform, the length would be truncated modulo 2**32, causing unintended length truncation. |
| An exploitable signed comparison vulnerability exists in the ARMv7 memcpy() implementation of GNU glibc 2.30.9000. Calling memcpy() (on ARMv7 targets that utilize the GNU glibc implementation) with a negative value for the 'num' parameter results in a signed comparison vulnerability. If an attacker underflows the 'num' parameter to memcpy(), this vulnerability could lead to undefined behavior such as writing to out-of-bounds memory and potentially remote code execution. Furthermore, this memcpy() implementation allows for program execution to continue in scenarios where a segmentation fault or crash should have occurred. The dangers occur in that subsequent execution and iterations of this code will be executed with this corrupted data. |
| lookupName in resolve.c in SQLite 3.30.1 omits bits from the colUsed bitmask in the case of a generated column, which allows attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact. |
| The BSON encoder in the MongoDB PHP Driver converts a string length to a 32-bit value without validation. When an affected application encodes a string near 4 GiB, the allocation size can wrap while the copy operation uses the original length. The resulting heap buffer overflow can corrupt process memory or terminate the PHP process. Reaching this issue requires a non-default runtime configuration that permits multi-gigabyte values. No MongoDB server interaction is required. |
| Excelize is a Go language library for reading and writing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. From 2.1.0 to 2.11.0, a Zip64 uncompressed size with the high bit set is converted from uint64 to a negative int64 before signed size-limit checks and allocation. ReadZipReader obtains UncompressedSize64 through FileInfo.Size and passes the wrapped negative value to readFile. When a crafted Zip64 entry declares an uncompressed size from 2^63 through 2^64-1 and the workbook is opened, the negative size bypasses unzip limits and reaches make as a negative capacity, allowing an attacker to panic during workbook opening. No fixed version is available as of this review. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: stmmac: fix TSO header length truncation
stmmac_tso_xmit() stores the protocol header length returned by
stmmac_tso_header_size() in a u8. stmmac_tso_valid_packet() admits
headers up to 1023 bytes, so a header longer than 255 bytes wraps modulo
256 (486 becomes 230, 256 becomes 0).
A TCP over IPv6 socket carrying a few hundred bytes of sticky
destination/hop-by-hop options makes skb_tcp_all_headers() exceed 255
while staying below the 1023-byte limit, so such an skb reaches
stmmac_tso_xmit().
Widen proto_hdr_len to unsigned int, which is sufficient since the value
is bounded by the hardware limit, and adjust the debug print specifier
accordingly. |
| NanoSVG commit 239e102ec contains an incorrect numeric conversion vulnerability in nsvg__pathArcTo() when parsing SVG arc commands. A specially crafted SVG document containing extreme arc radius values can cause intermediate arc calculations to produce a NaN delta angle. The function subsequently converts this NaN value to int without validating that it is finite and representable, resulting in undefined behavior and process termination, leading to denial of service. |
| GNU Aspell contains an integer truncation vulnerability in the WritableDict::add() function in modules/speller/default/writable.cpp. When loading a personal wordlist, the word length is stored as a single byte, causing truncation for words whose length is a multiple of 256. This leads to heap corruption. An attacker can exploit this by convincing a user to run aspell with a crafted personal wordlist containing such a word, resulting in denial of service.
This issue was fixed in commit 782ce94e4dc71eaec4ee1bd945eb3b9c47c5387d which will be released in version 0.60.8.3. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
vdpa_sim_net: check TX pull result before RX copy
vringh_iov_pull_iotlb() returns a signed byte count. A failed TX pull is
currently added to the unsigned byte counter and then passed as a size_t
length to receive_filter() and vringh_iov_push_iotlb(). A negative error
can therefore become a large length in the RX path.
Handle non-positive pull results before every length use. Count the TX
error and complete the consumed TX descriptor with zero bytes.
I found this bug myself, though the patch was written with AI assistance. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ACPICA: Fix integer overflow in acpi_ex_opcode_3A_1T_1R() (mid_op)
Add overflow check for Index + Length to prevent integer overflow
when calculating the truncation length. This prevents negative
size parameter being passed to memcpy(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
RDMA/umem: Be careful about boundary conditions in ib_umem_find_best_pgsz()
Several corner cases, especially important on 32 bits:
- umem->iova is u64, the function argument should pass in u64 or
iova will be truncated
- Check that the length is not too large for the iova
- Check that lengths > 4G don't overflow the GENMASK |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
cifs: validate idmap key payload length
The cifs.idmap key type stores its payload length in key->datalen, which
is limited to U16_MAX. Accepting a larger key payload truncates the
recorded length and can make later users interpret the payload using
inconsistent bounds.
Reject oversized preparsed payloads before allocating or copying them.
This keeps key->datalen consistent with the stored data for both inline
and separately allocated idmap payloads. |
| libjxl before 0.12 contains an integer underflow vulnerability in the container box parser that allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary metadata by exploiting 64-bit box size truncation to size_t on 32-bit platforms. Attackers can supply a crafted JPEG XL file causing the decoder to parse attacker-controlled codestream bytes as phantom box headers, enabling injection of arbitrary metadata (Exif, XMP, IPTC, JUMBF) and potential out-of-bounds reads. |
| NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for Windows and Linux contains a vulnerability in the kernel mode layer, where a user could cause an incorrect conversion between numeric types. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, denial of service, escalation of privileges, information disclosure, and data tampering. |
| NVIDIA vGPU Virtual GPU Manager for Linux contains a vulnerability in the kernel mode layer where an attacker could cause an incorrect numeric conversion. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, denial of service, escalation of privileges, information disclosure, and data tampering. |
| Incorrect conversion between numeric types in Microsoft JScript allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
