CVSS v3.1 |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM for JDK, Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition product of Oracle Java SE (component: JGSS). Supported versions that are affected are Oracle Java SE: 8u503, 8u503-perf, 11.0.32.1; Oracle GraalVM for JDK: 17.0.20.1 and 21.0.12.1; Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition: 21.3.19.1.1. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM for JDK, Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM for JDK, Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition as well as unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM for JDK, Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition accessible data. Note: This vulnerability can be exploited by using APIs in the specified Component, e.g., through a web service which supplies data to the APIs. This vulnerability also applies to Java deployments, typically in clients running sandboxed Java Web Start applications or sandboxed Java applets, that load and run untrusted code (e.g., code that comes from the internet) and rely on the Java sandbox for security. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 6.5 (Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:H). |
| Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in the Snort 3 Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE) Detection Engine that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to restart, resulting in an interruption of packet inspection.
This vulnerability is due to incomplete error checking when Snort 3 parses GRE packets. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted GRE packet to a targeted device to be parsed by Snort. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to restart unexpectedly, resulting in a DoS condition. |
| webpack-dev-server is a development server that provides live reloading for webpack projects. In versions from 5.1.0 before 5.2.7 and in version 6.0.0, the unauthenticated open-editor endpoint validates the Host header with a regular expression meant for browser Origin schemes, so a Host value beginning with file: or with an extension scheme short-circuits the hostname and allowedHosts checks. A network peer that can reach the dev server can send a request with a malformed Host that passes validation and then causes the endpoint's URL construction to throw, and in the default non-production mode the server returns an HTTP 500 body containing the full exception stack trace, which discloses absolute filesystem paths, installed module locations, and internal source line numbers. The server keeps running, so there is no denial of service. The issue is fixed in webpack-dev-server 5.2.7 and 6.1.0, and users should upgrade to one of those versions or later. |

drm/amdgpu/jpeg: set no_user_fence for JPEG v5.3.0 ring
JPEG rings do not support 64-bit user fence writes, reject CS
submissions with user fences.

| In Z-Wave SDK 8.1.1 and earlier, a malformed NCP SPI command can trigger out-of-bounds reads that leak sensitive information. |
| Laravel is a web application framework. Prior to 12.68.0 and 13.29.0, TokenGuard configured as a standard token-based API guard does not reject a crafted non-string credential. Under affected MySQL or MariaDB configurations, the authentication lookup can match an unintended existing user, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to bypass authentication and take over an account on routes protected by TokenGuard. This issue is fixed in versions 12.68.0 and 13.29.0. |
| pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.21.1, an attacker can craft a PDF containing image data labeled with the /DCTDecode filter that causes Pillow to select and invoke an unintended image parser when the image is loaded. Environments without the optional Pillow dependency are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 6.21.1. |
| A flaw was found in luksmeta. Improper boundary validation of metadata slots allows an attacker capable of supplying or modifying a disk header to redirect wipe or load operations outside the intended metadata area. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by providing a crafted header with valid checksums to overwrite or zero out encrypted payload data, resulting in persistent data loss and corrupted storage. Exploitation typically requires privileged access to modify raw block devices or the ability to induce an administrator to process an untrusted disk image. |
| Text::CSV_XS versions before 1.65 for Perl return a 0xFF byte that is not in the input for an empty last field followed by a lone CR in parse.
When the input to parse ends in a separator and a lone CR, the parser treats the end of the input as the next character and stores the end-of-file marker in the field as the byte 0xFF. With binary set, parse("a,\r") returns the fields "a" and "\xFF". On UTF-8 flagged input the last field is a UTF-8 flagged string holding that lone byte, which is malformed UTF-8. The same input with a non-empty last field is rejected as an error.
A CRLF file read line by line and chomped ends this way when its last column is empty, so the application receives a byte that is not in its input. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM for JDK, Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition product of Oracle Java SE (component: 2D). Supported versions that are affected are Oracle Java SE: 8u503, 8u503-perf, 11.0.32.1, 17.0.20.1; Oracle GraalVM for JDK: 17.0.20.1 and 21.0.12.1; Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition: 21.3.19.1.1. | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb/client: validate new EOF for insert range
smb3_insert_range() does not check if the new file size
(i_size + len) is valid. This allows FALLOC_FL_INSERT_RANGE to bypass
RLIMIT_FSIZE, exceed s_maxbytes, or produce a size outside the loff_t
range.
Use check_add_overflow() to calculate the new EOF. Validate it with
inode_newsize_ok() before modifying the file.
Reproducer, using a file on a CIFS mount:
bash -c '
FILE=/mnt/cifs/repro
trap "" SIGXFSZ
ulimit -f 3072 # RLIMIT_FSIZE = 3 MiB
# A regular write is stopped at 3 MiB.
dd if=/dev/zero of="$FILE" bs=1M count=4 status=none
stat -c "size after write: %s" "$FILE"
# Insert 2 MiB into a 2 MiB file.
truncate -s 2M "$FILE"
fallocate -i -o 0 -l 2M "$FILE"
stat -c "size after insert: %s" "$FILE"
'
Before this change, the regular write stops at the 3 MiB limit, but
insert range grows the file to 4 MiB:
dd: error writing '/mnt/cifs/repro': File too large
size after write: 3145728
size after insert: 4194304
After this change, insert range also fails at the limit and leaves the
2 MiB file unchanged:
dd: error writing '/mnt/cifs/repro': File too large
size after write: 3145728
fallocate: fallocate failed: File too large
size after insert: 2097152 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: reject oversized tx_queue_len at netlink parse time
rtnl_create_link() assigns IFLA_TXQLEN directly to dev->tx_queue_len
without going through netif_change_tx_queue_len(), so a device created
with "ip link add ... txqueuelen 500000" bypasses the S16_MAX cap and
still triggers the oversized ring allocations in pfifo_fast, tun and
tap. The veth peer nest (rtnl_nla_parse_ifinfomsg()) and the
RTM_NEWLINK-on-existing-device path reach the same sinks.
Enforce the cap in ifla_policy instead: IFLA_TXQLEN becomes
NLA_POLICY_FULL_RANGE(NLA_U32, &txqlen_range) with
txqlen_range = { .min = 0, .max = S16_MAX }. All netlink consumers
parse against this policy - rtnl_setlink(), rtnl_newlink() (create
and change), and the veth peer nest - so every netlink path is capped
at parse time and rejects the attribute with -ERANGE plus a proper
"integer out of range" extack message before any device state is
modified (the RTM_SETLINK half-application wart is gone with it).
Document the bound in the rt-link.yaml netlink spec.
Conditions to recreate the bug:
- CONFIG_NET_SCHED=y, CONFIG_VETH=y, CONFIG_USER_NS=y, CONFIG_NET_NS=y.
- Unprivileged user in a fresh user+net namespace (unshare -Urn):
ip link add v0 txqueuelen 500000 type veth peer name v1
-> on the fixed kernel this is rejected with -ERANGE ("integer out
of range" extack) instead of installing an oversized tx_queue_len
that later inflates pfifo_fast/tun/tap ring allocations.
- ip link set v0 txqueuelen 500000 is likewise rejected at parse time. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
soundwire: fix bug in sdw_add_element_group_count found by syzkaller
The original implementation caused an out-of-bounds memory access
in the sdw_add_element_group_count for-loop when i == num.
for (i = 0; i <= num; i++) {
if (rate == group->rates[i] && lane == group->lanes[i])
...
To fix this error, the function now checks for existing rate/lane
entries in the group(a function parameter) using a for-loop before
adding them.
No functional changes apart from this fix. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: mac80211: validate extension-frame layout before RX
Extension frames only have the extension header at the regular 802.11
header offset. The generic RX path can still reach helpers and interface
dispatch code that read regular header address fields before unsupported
extension subtypes are dropped.
mac80211 currently only handles S1G beacon extension frames. Drop other
extension subtypes before they can reach regular-header RX processing.
For S1G beacons, linearize the SKB with the management-frame path and
require the fixed S1G beacon header, including optional fixed fields
indicated by frame control, before generic RX dispatch.
Route S1G beacons through the station/default-link RX path without
regular-header station lookup. Avoid regular-header address reads in the
mac80211 RX paths that process S1G extension beacons, including
accept-frame, duplicate-detection, address-copy, and MLO
address-translation paths.
Also make ieee80211_get_bssid() length-safe before returning the S1G
source-address pointer. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
sched_ext: Don't warn on core-sched forced idle in put_prev_task_scx()
put_prev_task_scx() warns when a runnable task drops to a lower sched_class
without SCX_OPS_ENQ_LAST, on the assumption that balance_one() would have
kept it running. Core scheduling breaks that: a forced-idle SMT sibling
reschedules through the core_pick fast path in pick_next_task(), which skips
pick_task_scx() and thus balance_one(), so a runnable task can drop to idle
with ENQ_LAST unset.
Gate the warning on sched_cpu_cookie_match(): a cookie mismatch means core
scheduling forced the idle, while a match (or core scheduling off) still
catches a genuine missing-ENQ_LAST drop. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/i915/bios: range check LFP Data Block panel_type2
While the panel_type from LFP Data Block is range checked, panel_type2
is not. Add a few helpers for range checking, and use them to not only
check panel_type2, but also improve clarity and correctness in the panel
type selection.
Discovered using AI-assisted static analysis confirmed by Intel Product
Security.

- Add is_panel_type_pnp() (Ville)

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: mt76: mt7921: Place upper limit on station AID
Any station configured with an AID over 20 causes a firmware crash.
This situation occurred in our testing using an AP interface on 7922
hardware, with a modified hostapd, sourced from Mediatek's OpenWRT
feeds.
In stock hostapd, station AIDs begin counting at 1, and this
configuration is prevented with an upper limit on associated stations.
However, the modified hostapd began allocation at 65, which caused the
firmware to crash. This fix does not allow these AIDs to work, but will
prevent the firmware crash.
This crash was only seen on IFTYPE_AP interfaces, and the fix does not
appear to have an effect on IFTYPE_STATION behavior. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
erofs: fix inline data read failure for ztailpacking pclusters
Compressed folios for ztailpacking pclusters must be valid before adding
these pclusters to I/O chains. Otherwise, z_erofs_decompress_pcluster()
may assume they are already valid and then trigger a NULL pointer
dereference.
It is somewhat hard to reproduce because the inline data is in the same
block as the tail of the compressed indexes, which are usually read just
before. However, it may still happen if a fatal signal arrives while
read_mapping_folio() is running, as shown below:
